Introducing Fenwood Farms
Meet John and Carol Fennema, the couple behind Fenwood Farms, a family-run farm near Ancaster, Ontario. Fenwood Farms raise chickens without any antibiotics, growth proponents, or any animal by-products or bakery waste. Instead, they feed them the good stuff like vitamins, herbs, minerals, probiotics, and grains. Fenwood raises their birds indoors so that they are protected from predators but also gives them full access to the outdoors whenever they want to stroll around the farm.
Introducing Fenwood’s products
We are so pleased with the quality and the flavour of Fenwood Farm’s chicken that we are launching 8 new products in Ontario (and they happen to be the most popular chicken products at truLOCAL). Of course, we carry Fenwood’s fantastic boneless options such as boneless skinless chicken breasts and boneless skinless chicken thighs but we also bone-in options such as bone-in chicken breasts, bone-in chicken thighs, bone-in chicken legs with the back quarters left on, chicken wings, drumsticks, and whole chickens.
